Robert D. Morlan, DMD founded Morlan Family Dental in 1996 with a vision centered on long-term oral health and meaningful patient relationships. Originally from South Bend, IN, Dr. Morlan earned his bachelor's degree from Indiana University before receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the American Dental Association and has continued expanding his clinical knowledge through ongoing professional development, including work toward fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Morlan has a special interest in periodontal treatment as well as general and preventive dentistry, helping patients maintain healthy smiles through personalized treatment and early intervention. His philosophy centers on creating positive dental experiences while helping patients build lifelong oral health habits. He especially values helping nervous patients feel more comfortable and enjoys seeing the confidence that can come from healthier, stronger smiles. Outside the office, Dr. Morlan enjoys spending time with his daughters, Paige and Nicole, and remains actively involved in supporting local schools, athletics, and community causes like the FLAN Walk and the Jimmy Fund Boston Marathon Walk.

I have been coming to Dr Morlan for over 20 years and I am very happy with the care that I have received. He is always keeping up with the new technology that makes the patient experience so much easier, faster and less painful for the patient. He is also very personable and explains everything to the patients, which is a great comfort. I am also impressed with his dental assistants and office staff. They make me feel like I’m important to them. I ❤️ that they have good music taste 😂👍. It’s a good vibe all around 😀
